Who is this diploma program designed for?+
For dentists, periodontists, and implantologists seeking advanced training in periodontal and peri-implant plastic surgery. No prior specialty is required, though basic clinical experience in oral surgery is recommended.
What specific techniques are covered in the program?+
The program covers the main root coverage techniques (CAF, MCAT, tunnel technique, and variants), connective tissue grafts, biomaterials for hard and soft tissue, crown lengthening, and peri-implant soft tissue surgery. Each technique includes complication management.
What is the difference between this diploma and an online periodontology course?+
This is a structured postgraduate program with 151.6 hours of training, university methodology, supervised surgical practice, and a double degree option. It is not an update course: it builds hands-on skills and clinical judgment from the fundamentals to high complexity, with real clinical cases and personalized mentoring.
When does the program start?+
The program starts in August 2026 in online + in-person format. The exact schedule and enrollment process are shared when you request more information. Spots are limited.
What is the double degree with GBR?+
You can enroll in the Diploma in Periodontal Plastic Surgery and the Diploma in Guided Bone Regeneration with a single enrollment, earning 236 hours of training and two degrees. It is the most recommended option to cover both soft and hard tissue with a single enrollment process.
Can I take it from outside Chile?+
Yes. The international program is 100% online (USD $1,250). It includes full access to the learning modules, videos, and the PerioPlastic Library with online classes and our own clinical cases. The Clinical Internship (in-person practice with patients in Chile) is contracted separately (USD $2,500 per program or USD $3,500 for the double program).
